Bethesda boss Todd Howard has explained why Starfield is going to be locked to 30fps on Xbox Series X|S consoles.

Biggest concerning signs:

  1. 30 FPS lock on xbox, there’s no way to spin that positively, absolute fail

  2. Predatory pre-order bonus skins to get people to buy before they know what they’re actually going to experience (buggy shitshow)

  3. Countless attempts to hype up the game and huge random assurances from the devs

  4. Preemptively admitting the game has jank and trying to make it seem okay lol

    none of this is particularly different from their other releases, and 2 & 3 arent even out of the ordinary for AAA gaming in general, regardless of quality or reception

      Plus number 4. It’s a Bethesda game, if you don’t expect jank/bugs then I have a bridge to sell you…

      Ofc it will be broken at launch but the amazing modding community that comes with Bethesda games will have that shit sorted in no time
