This Great Blue Heron was hanging out on the USS Turner Joy yesterday in Bremerton, Washington and was kind enough to let me get a few close-ups.

    Thanks. I was able to get fairly close because the heron was on the level above and wasn’t concerned about people below. The zoom on my phone handed the rest.
