Saw the data here, on Statcounter: https://gs.statcounter.com/os-market-share/desktop/united-states-of-america. But now that I have searched it, it seems that maybe this spike is related to bots masquerading as Linux traffic https://www.pcworld.com/article/3204830/linux-didnt-actually-hit-10-percent-market-share-blame-bots.html.

Who knows, but indeniably, Linux is gaining attraction progressively.

This. Linux use on the USA is now over 10% in computers. And growing. I hope Europe follows the same path, but it is slow. Growing also. At home we all have ditched Windows years ago.

Yes, many people have to use VPN to use Internet without problems when there is a football match. It is sickening.

AMEN (hola!!!)

Here the block depends mainly on who is your Internet provider. If you are with Movistar, O2 or Digi, you are fucked and can,t see many webs while there is a football match (during winter nearly every day and all weekend). I have Orange, no problem at all. I suppose that Yoigo users also are safer (same group as Orange). With Vodafone, no idea. This, apart from La Liga fuckery, has algo something about provider incompetence. All providers are obliged to this block, but some of them don,t discriminate, while some others do.

Less frequent than bic, and yes, it is too hot to think properly!!

Also quite easy to find here in Spain, if you have a stationery shop nearby (not the ones for kids and school), but the ones intended for office use.

Ok, then try to open it from the axios source with a different method. It is complicated

Linked without paywall

What could possibly go wrong?? 🤦🏻‍♀️

Yes, nearly here, waiting as well

Oh, this one is very good!!! 😂

No, in fact, it was more left winger that they wanted to. This is only to mark that he is a gaffe. A big one!

He could go in a tour around Europe, and start hugging alt right wingers!!!

The rigth winger en Canada, and in general has showed support to all the right wing parties candidates in Europe. And how could we forget that he visited the Pope, and he died next day!

Hope Vance comes to Spain to endorse Feijoo (right) and Abascal (extreme right) too. Everytime he endorses someone, this one loses!

I have had one at Strato (German, now part of Ionos), for several years. Not a single problem with them, and prices are quite good.

I wish Spain did the same, but Microsoft is very present, almost exclusively, in the national and regional administrations. There used to be more Linux, for example in education, but know, Microsoft everywhere. Sigh

Hey, are you still looking for moderators at Lemmy, or are you covered? Interested, because It could be another way to help.

Got a Uni Kuru Toga for my birthday, it goes very fine, I love the mechanism!
