I was able to get a good deal on a lightly used 3.6kWh EcoFlow DELTA Pro and this ZOUPW 480W panel. I got 380 - 395W through the July afternoon, but I’ve since learned I didn’t have the panel at a good angle given my latitude and time of year.

I know the chemistry and I know some of the universities working on it in the 70s and 80s. I don’t know how I’d get in the door with no credentials. I like to think I could talk myself into Oxford… it’s delusional, but I like to think it.

First I’d bask in all the social and financial safety nets that Reagan and the Bushes hadn’t been able to destroy yet. Watch some pro-union TV ads. Then try to meet Mr Rogers and Ramblin’ Rod.

Then I’d probably try to invent rechargeable lithium tetrahydride batteries a couple years ahead of time, use the money to invest in MS and Oracle, and funnel the profits to Enron and Bernie Madoff before their bottoms drop out. Once I’m too rich to jail, I’d have some other people I’d want to “meet”… while armed.

I haven’t been in a theater since 2018. I will end that streak if turns out Tim Russ has a speaking roll in this movie.

The one nice thing about 2026 is that almost every day there is a news story that makes me feel better about not having kids.
