"Keep an eye on the pennies and the dollars will look after themselves "
Thanks for that.
I found that article very confusing to read.
See now YOU look like an idiot! The “journalist” should have written the article ABOUT 2025 in 2018 and posted it in 2024.
The Internet it full of dummies.
If you had read the article, you might have figured it out on your own.
Then again…
… It was written in 2018…
Wish I could just wake up and it not be true.
But it is. Oh it is.
Thank you for sou g the leg work.
Is there a YouTube video that explains to me how we can’t know who sent those texts. Somebody paid for that number (not the spoofed number, they actually had to have one to be connected to the lines right?). How can spoofing happen without the carrier knowing/enabling? Your carrier used their lines to deliver it to you. How is this not trackable?
I want a 1h26 minute Technology Connections or whoever, because this has never made sence to me.
Would he? Honest question I’m not sure how at would work if Trump was imprisoned or died before taking office.
Bojack is a furry.
Horseman… Obviously
He did tweet that.
When Biden dropped out and I txtd my other half to tell him he txtd best “Ohno! What about all the Biden/Trump Jail/Whitehouse coins?!?!”
I lol’d
I agree. Nearly every lyric in that song, when isolated, sounds fine and agreeable. Even when he attacks people on welfare “if you’re 5’- 3 and 300lbs, taxes ought not to pay, for your bags of fudge rounds.” Isn’t wrong.
Taxes shouldn’t be used by fat cats to get fatter. But he isn’t saying that. He is punching down and attacking a group of people who are suffering in “the new world” just like him, and a fucking bag of cookies is one of the few joys they can still aquire. He could have chosen to attack the elite, even if he only meant the ones to the North. He didn’t.
“It’s a damn shame, what the world’s gotten to, for people like me, and people like you.”
Sounds great. Now picture his audience. Who are they, and who are they thinking of when they hear that line?
This song is called “Richmen North of Richmond.” It’s the Northerner’s fault all these bad things are happening.
It’s that movie with Rowdy Piper and the glasses. You have to put them on to see the whole message. Dog whistling at its finest.
If he had made a few small changes it could have been a powerful pro-worker lament and I would be playing it to death. Instead it was #11 on Trump’s “Standing on the stage for 44 minutes swaying back and forth because America is so easy to con so why not?”
It’s a damn shame.
I’m with you Cheese, the vibe was “just report that you weren’t here so you aren’t supporting genocide.”
Thank you.
“The south lost and slavery is bad, kindly get fucked.”
Sorry as a Canadian and a woman I just can’t not be polite…
Richmen North of Richmond.
I love the sound, and at first it sounds like a pro worker union song (and it kinda is).
But there’s way too much dog whistle… An old soul in a new world… Dude the south lost and slavery is bad. I’m sorry
And then he slips in some super disappointing language about fat people on welfare.
I wrote a poem at work (long story, boss asked me to write an email asking a personal favour of a higher up that he would pass on) and when I showed him my brilliant poem, which was an homage to the Lorax and was about asking for trees, he asked if I used chatgtp.
Crushing. Absolutely. What is the point if someone like me can’t stretch a rarely used creative muscle to have a little fun if everyone’s just gonna assume I plugged in “hey Chatgtp, I need a poem about x”
I’d post my poem here so I could bask in some sympathy comments but I would dox myself with the info.
