I watched a guy who worked as a mechanic for a couple years play it and he said it was very accurate to a real car but without the wires and tubes. I got it on sale for like $2. I just checked and it’s still on sale.
Hopefully our ai overlords will save us from our mortal vessels.

It’s surely much simpler then a real car since i could disassemble the whole car in an hour and put it back together in around the same time i think XD

I started playing car mechanic simulator VR so i’m learning how to take appart every part of a car to find their issues. Right now the floor is full of engine parts since i’m trying to find what the client said made a noise XD

Since it uses a mobile chip is it any good for real tasks or is it very limited?

Pretty cool :)
For me the future means in some kind of wearable display that uses eye or hand tracking to select things wich are less precise then a mouse, so bigger buttons would be a good thing.

People can ask an AI summary of the AI book i guess XD

For me that’s not true for VR games. There’s still a lot to do in terms of graphics and they are harder and harder to run with VR headsets that always need more resolutions to make the games look how they should look without so many visible pixels. The new 4K per eye panels are pretty much perfect but that’s really hard to run.

Don’t worry they’ll turn their datacenters into virtual PC hosting so that people who can’t afford to upgrade will have to rent the hardware…

That’s true! The Haste game mechanics would make an insane Sonic game :0

I got tingles instantly from that video!

I’m so used to VR that nothing makes me feel weird now. I can do barel rolls in an f-18 with no issues XD

Well mateo311 just made a new top 100 VR games so here you go XD i mostly agree with the choices but i only play PCVR so i don’t know the psvr2 and quest games he mentioned. https://youtu.be/3oxbi7OoSLc

I watched it earlier. Looks pretty good :)

I’ve been mostly playing microsoft flight simulator 2020 in VR and a patreon work in progress build of a game called grimorium. It’s extremely bare bones still but it’s nice to see what the dev is working on and adding on a weekly basis updated build. I like how i just asked if it would be hard to add a 3D mode for me to play on a 3D VR flat screen and they just went ahead and added a stereoscopic mode that i can use for that. So i’ve been testing and exploring the world in 3D this week :)

Honestly that’s probably the closest they ever got.

For a quick answer i’ll give you my most played VR games and i might update this comment tomorrow with actual preferences. Beatsaber, skyrim VR, grimlord, legendary tales, windlands, blade and sorcery, payday 2, behemoth, …

I really hope a lot of new people jump in and discover how truly incredible VR games are :)
We see today how bad it is to rely so much on visa and paypal for steam payments when they can control what they want and what they don’t want to see being sold on steam. I think gift cards could be an interesting alternative but idk.
