Oh absolutely, great way to put it
Hell yeah buddy, that rules! I’ve been painting mine for a few weeks now and had similar experiences. I keep expecting weird looks or pushback, but so far only compliments. As a guy who has always dressed drab and frumpy and tried to not be perceived physically my entire life, it’s been legitimately confusing when people say “cool color!” to me out of nowhere lol
One for the basket, one for me. Simple as
How could you have predicted this?
Ok fair, but Cisco has the most buttery smooth voice around! Not trying to convince you to like something you don’t, just have to go to bat for the guy
If you like the rooting tooting western aspect, may I suggest Cisco Houston? He was a folk singer and Wobbly troubadour from the depression era who sang a bunch of the old cowboy tunes
“I’m Bryan and I’m here with my co-host Chris, the string trimmer”
“Ok, yeah I guess I’d use one if I had a lawn? Is that bad?”
Sort of tangential but: how is the only food item I buy that isn’t shrinkflated peanut butter that I have to stir?! Every other product is in a huge container mostly empty and full of air to convince you you’re buying more. BUT the fucking peanut butter is filled right to the brim so when I go to stir it, it spills everywhere because I suck at stirring
It doesn’t eliminate PFAS chemicals though
The entire watershed of the town I grew up in has contaminated water from a DuPont plant, provably going back to the 80s. Discovered about a decade ago, absolutely no government action done to mitigate it. For a year or two after the proof came out the county provided free water bottles, then literally nothing. Several hundred thousand people are daily drinking contaminated water out of taps that cannot be remedied at the point of use and the state and local government just continues to shrug
Aaron from Trillbillies has called the politics of the US omnicidal and I agree with it more everyday
Coming soon to a state near yooouuuu!
Hal is a working class hero too. He leads a workers revolt at a grocery store. Towards the end of the show it is revealed that he has skipped every Friday at work for years
Do not ask a question if you do not want to hear the answer…
Once again hoping these same people find out who the former owner of Trump’s yacht was 👁️
anything similar to Blowback
Kind of a leap but: the Anti Empire Project with Justin Podur has a few recurring history series covering a world civilizations overview, colonization and the scramble for Africa, and the politics in Europe in the lead up to WW1 iirc. The hosts are cool and just some big old nerd ass academics (compliment). It’s less well produced than blowback for sure, but they do a lot of research for each episode usually and can get really in depth on a topic.
I think they’re in the same feed, but Guerilla History is a good one if you like RevLeft and want a history focused show cohosted by Breht.
Edited out the long TWP plug after scrolling down
Did the campaign have any comments on Trump’s yacht, and its former owner?
His guest spots on Trueanon and Chapo are good starting places
Oh right on I have definitely heard those, I just didn’t remember the name I guess. I really enjoyed what he had to say, idk why I didn’t go out of my way to hear more. I’ve definitely been in need of a yet unlistened to podcast to go through while driving for work and this sounds like a great one
(sorry for the long reply, but he’s one of my favorites and super underrated imo.)
Hell yeah go off friend
