I’m from space!

This is dope, BUT Mapquest is just a wrapper for OpenStreetMaps, and this is data that you get for free with OSM.
Also, after install, Mapquest immediately asks to start tracking your behavior for targeted marketing shit.
Mapquest probably doesn’t actually give a shit privacy or fighting authoritarians. They just want a cheap and free data set, and the cheapest thing available automatically has LPR data and doesn’t rename bodies of water to “America.”

Might be rolling out. It see it on iOS.

They’re using OpenStreetMaps, and OSM has a DB of all the major LPRs. The filter just pulls in all the surveillance cameras in OSM, and if you click on the camera you see the meta data about the reported camera type.

The ones reported to OpenStreetMap.
Mapquest is basically a wrapper for OpenStreetMaps, so they kind of get this for free.
Also, all of the major flock reporting tools are built on OSM. So basically, if you use Mapquest, you will get data from DeFlock users.

It’s kind of hard to avoid getting screwed around places like LA, the Bay Area, or Sacramento. You kind of have to go through them, and unfortunately, most of the side road shortcuts are no longer secrets. GPS has been offering up those shortcuts to drivers for a while now, and even the workarounds are slow.
Your best weapon is to avoid those areas during commute hours and to plan ahead.

Yeah, I5 will take you from Mexico to Canada. And that drive across CA is long as shit when you’re going north to South.
And CA has some world-famous high-traffic spots around places like LA, which makes it even worse during commute hours.
San Diego to Oregon is, IMHO, better done as a 2 day drive. And both of those days are still going to suck.

California is pretty similar if you’re going north to South… if you avoid commute hours. Then you’re looking at. 16 hour drive.
To be fair, the ‘ol Crimson Tide does have some pretty good departments and programs. Tuscaloosa and Birmingham are pretty good cities with a lot of bright and progressive people. But once you get a few miles outside of the major metro areas and their suburbs, that’s when shit changes.

The people in Idiocracy are dumb. The people in power now are cruel and dumb.

This is literally turning into Monday Night Rehabilitation from Idiocracy.
This whole cabinet is like a less funny version of that movie.
Thing is, this is a real thing in the states.
Example.

I’m a fan of the sausages their people used to sell at Costco.

I guess is depends on how busy your train system is. In my city we’re packed in like sardines during commute hours, and during those busy times those things create situations where people can’t get in and out and properly.
Technically the train conductor and police are supposed to keep an eye out for that shit and make sure bikes don’t block aisles and doors, but they don’t and the wide and long bikes often block mobility when trains are packed.
I commute with something pretty slim that easily tucks into the train racks.

Just avoid taking that on during commute time. Those things don’t fit compactly into the bike rack, and they piss everyone off during commute hours.

The high gas prices are making EVs appealing, even without subsidies.

IMHO, Nintendo slaps “Super” on everything. At this point it’s basically a generic brand element that they use to make things Nintendo-ish.

So, how do we differentiate now between AI, AGI and ASI?
Are we now going to have
This fucking idiot clearly doesn’t know a thing about out the technology, and he’s going to get a lot of people hurt. All he knows is that AI = money for billionaires.
The data is in there. You just need an OSM client that exposes it. DeFlock, mapcomplete, Mapquest, etc.
