Update. Works great on desktop (win11). Works great on VLC for ios. Likely an iOS browser bug. It might be encoding related? ಥ_ಥ

Absolutely. Half the communities I post to aren’t mainstream so the posts fluctuate pretty heavily with upvotes and downvotes.

Sometimes it’s predictable. For example, hentai of women with dicks get less downvotes than men with pussies. Other times, I feel like I’m playing the lottery.

I do my best to ignore votes in the meantime. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

It’s mostly me posting in !paizuri@lemmynsfw.com, with votes on the posts being either on the cusp of or just barely into double digits for a 400-ish subscriber community.

I tried to enable the horny posters by writing post titles as questions, which usually works great on reddit. The most engagement I get on here is “you didn’t include source on this one” 😅

I guess I’ll start. Back on Reddit I was moderating a 150k sub subreddit so I didn’t need to post daily. Now I’m moderating two communities (maybe 1.1k subs total). and most everyone is lurkers. Every few days I try to post, but it’s tough without feedback. Besides upvotes and downvotes, I got no clue what people want. Struggling to build engagement and to get people to post.
