  • A quick glance suggests that this artist has a reasonably extensive history of drawing dating back to 2013 according to HentaiFoundry. Their Twitter profile is sparse on WIPs but has a few as far as back as 2019, so I’m inclined to give them the benefit of the doubt and say it’s just some jank on their part.

I totally appreciate the second opinion though; glad it wasn’t just me that thought about it.

If it’s the art style you like, you might try looking through other pieces by this artist on boorus like Gelbooru/Danbooru. Not every single one is drawn and shaded in that style, but it beats nothing.

I’m sure there are also other artists that share some similarities, but I can’t name any off the top of my head. Let me know if you find some!

Saucenao says it was drawn by Yabuki Kentarou, who is known as the artist for To-Love Ru and related series. It has a post on Yande.re.

Google reverse image search also brings me to an article from ANN that says it’s the cover of one of Japan’s Weekly Playboy mags.

I don’t see any indication that it’s a particular character or person, but I also can’t read Japanese so no idea if there’s anything in the text that would suggest that.

  • My preference is to name the character and artist directly somewhere, usually in the title. It also works for searching when put in the description too. As long as you actually name the character/artist somewhere, it should work. Thanks for posting and asking!

If I had the time and energy to do it, I’d probably build a sauce bot to look it up and write it out automatically, but I’m lazy.

feat. Ochaco Uraraka from Boku no Hero Academia - Art by SnowV | Pixiv | Gelbooru

MOD NOTE: This post is more suggestive than explicit but it’s original content and it still looks good! We’ve done the same with other posts that are more along the lines of ecchi than hentai too. This one probably belongs on something like !lewdanimegirls@lemmynsfw.com though.

If anyone’s wondering why it has basically no title, I think that’s because that’s how it was posted on Mastodon, but I’ll reach out to the artist to let’em know.

  • I picked up Kaiju Princess during the Steam Winter Sale and was surprised at how well they dressed up a simple cohabitation/management simulation. There’s nothing super notable about the gameplay, but the interactive sex scene + CG-based scenes were reasonably well-illustrated.

My only complaint is that I thought the scenes were superhard to unlock because I only got a handful of scenes from start to beating the main story. Turns out that some scenes auto-play on unlock (like the relationship rank up scenes) while others are simply unlocked and need to be selected from the Scenes menu. That was definitely different from what I’m used to.

Peeping Dorm Manager was also really good, but also light on content, though what’s there is gold. They did a good job of streamlining what is usual a tedious process of tracking NPC schedules by giving you an automatic “quest log” that tracks new pieces of information as you discover them. It’s a bit of a grind to get resources at the start, but it’s super easy once you get items that makes it more efficient to grind.

  • I can think of a few favorites lewd games that do #1 or #3, but #2 kinda blurs together with #3 anyway for me.

What’s more of a distinguishing factor is how integrated it is in the main gameplay or story. Games like SUBVERSE were really a disappointment to me since the majority of the sex scenes were in exchange for “friendship points” that you earned from grinding battles.

I usually prefer games with frequently weave sex into it, like having sex frequently to seduce guards or even incorporating it into combat itself as a part of the challenge.

  • I don’t think you need to know who I am or who is posting (and if you did, you should go elsewhere, as you noted). It’s enough that you and I are thinking about how votes fit in the community aspect of things (aka sorting things out “naturally” without a special care).

I mistook your stance on downvotes as being all or nothing - if we’re both on votes only being for community members (and I’m still open to putting it back to everyone if/when this instance is bigger), then we’re on the same page.

without a real vote by everyone

I do agree that it may have been hasty to enact the initial downvote restriction without any broader vote. I managed to get my input in, but I that was only on the ModCoord comm I linked you. There was some additional discussion on Matrix, but I only saw that after the fact. I only visit once or twice a day to post and take breaks when my life is busy, so I was also surprised to see the announcement when I came back. The second vote also didn’t include a “no restrictions” vote either, so I suppose that wasn’t an option they wanted to explore.
