I am 6"4". I keep sitting even though my legs are pressed in the seat before me. Because everything is better than standing with my back hunched over like a crooked banana. Hurts my back like crazy

I think it might depend on your user case. This study seems to suggest dark mode can reduce eye strain and fatigue in certain conditions. I personally like dark mode while programming because I can retain focus for longer. But when I am in a bright environment or I have to proofread I occasionally switch themes.
