As a person who plays from time to time, it was more that the war was in a massive stalemate. It was on the secondary server, where less players are on than is required to push the front lines.

Good.

I haven’t ever thought of playing WOW, but glorbo looks like such a fun time
I envy WOW players.

Seems to be a damn good week for successors. First Arzette and now this

Is this “online gaming” the one where the term was hijacked by gambling companies, or actual video games?

That may be true, but it’s not a premium feature to paywall behind DLC. Either you have it or you don’t
Damn, obliterated

We don’t talk about Artifact

Another thing: if you’re on the fence, you can try out the entire game for free on the bay 12 games website, the only downside is that there are only ASCII graphics

Yes
I’ve been keeping on getting one for the itch io ukraine bundle, which was over a year old

Sh.itheads unite!
Boomer shooter isn’t the worst genre name ever, in fact I think it fits the genre quite well. There are certainly a lot of things going boom in a typical boomer shooter, and the baby boomers are only one generation off of the “proper” generation, so it represents its age.
Certainly better than the -likes, do you guys really want the “doom-likes” term to resurface?

Yep, obliterated.

I don’t like the ramping tribalism that’s starting to go around, but escalating with more tribalism is definitely not the answer.
Being so defederate-happy would only doom this instance into an echo chamber, possibly even turning into the very thing they’re accusing it of being now

I’ve had CoQ on my backlog for a while, I should probably finally start it sometime
Also WFC looks so cool

Same, though the base building is also one of the things that ties the procgen there together imo. Theres something just cool about being able to discover random player’s bases organically by exploring, even if it is rare to actually find em in the quintillions of planets

Nothing yet, I’ve finished the roof of the main building and got some of the offices set up. Nothing postworthy yet

I’ve been using it to look at my fortresses, its a great tool!
I’m gonna be that guy and say that death stranding isnt a walking simulator by definition, walking simulators as a genre are more like visual novels meanwhile death stranding id more call a hiking simulator about the logistics of going from A to B.
I’d say death stranding is more like euro truck simulator on foot than it is stanley parable.
Other than that pretty much my thoughts on the game.
