    Since the screenshot didn’t specify which username the supposed nazi-admin-account has, I didn’t specify an db0-admin either. The screenshot said the infiltration would have taken a year, which doesn’t really match up to any db0-admins.

    Yup, but my point was more about that the person making the screenshot probably had German as their default browser language.

    About Israel: Don’t wanna discuss it since it had some really bad discussions (more like arguments) especially on db0. As for my standing: It’s quite obvious that the current Israeli government consists of a bunch of wannabe-dictators and war criminals. There’s no excuse for the genocide in Gaza and all the recent military aggressions. As much as I don’t like advocating for nations, Israel is a country and the solution can’t be destroying it or murdering Israeli civilians. Best solution would be just fucking tolerate each other (while being two sovereign nations). But no party with power in this conflict wants that. At the end it comes down to different types of powerful people profiting while civilians pay (with their lifes). Arguing for this point of view, I have been insulted way too often, mostly by people sharing 98% of my political beliefs. Useless bickering which divides leftists and therefore harms all of us. As a leftist, I regard this as a shame.

    Note that my main account is @Peter_Arbeitslos@feddit.org and that I might not answer when getting pinged on this acc. I use this account since my main account doesn’t seem to federate correctly.

    Since this thread is already kind of getting an investigation-thread, I would like to add what I noted. Might be more or less useful.

    I first found the screenshot in https://feddit.org/post/29117468 (which I archived in the WebArchive yesterday, but which since then got some dozens more comments which now are gone). The feddit.org-admins deleted the post three hours ago.

    The post was based on the thread of https://feddit.uk/post/48175747 (archived) which we are in right now.

    @Sleerk@feddit.uk posted the screenshot, the post on feddit.org was created by @PosiePoser@feddit.org. The account of u/Sleerk has been deleted (archived it before that). Sleerk seemed to be an English account, but the interface language in screenshot was German. u/Sleerk joined on October 17th 2025 and posted 2 posts and 6 comments since then. u/PosiePoser is a German account that joined on October 28th 2025 and posted 3 posts and 32 comments since then. Since both accounts are (allegedly) German, are not really active and their creation dates are close together, one could conjecture that it’s the same person. I would reject that claim until further evidence is given.

    u/Sleerk claimed (nazi website:) “annihilation[dot]social/notice/B5kKSTU3vBt4xby6gi” to be the source of their screenshot. The screenshot’s background matches the background of the nazi website. The post on the nazi website wasn’t online when I checked it yesterday (21:00 UTC +1), at least it didn’t load. It still doesn’t load. Since the db0-admins were in the thread already, one of them could have theoretically deleted the post on the nazi website so it was gone 7mins after the links was published here. Note also that the admin may have already deleted the nazi post when the screenshot was commented, having 10 hours to do so. The theory of one db0-admin being a nazi can’t be debunked just by claiming the nazi post has never existed.

    Observations when comparing the screenshot and the link shared in the debunk-comment by mathemachristian:

    • The image and text are different (obviously), possibly changed by html-editing
    • The screenshot-thread is marked as private (?) (lock-icon) which could be the reason why one can’t open it while not being logged in as one of the nazi-users. The debunk-thread is public.
    • The numbers of stars/likes in the screenshot is greater than in the debunk-link, meaning they must have been edited too
    • The screenshot-thread shows some kinds of lemmy-like thread lines on the left. In the debunk-link, they are missing.
    • Additionally the screenshot-thread has some “show more comments” stuff which also would be hard to fake with the browser-html-editing
    • The screenshot has a German interface and the background matches the background of the nazi-website
    • The screenshot actually is at least three screenshots which edited (in Gimp?) to be a single one (partly image disruption with Gimp-like background filled by white color on the edges)
    • Some comments are missing while being included in the screenshot

    Question which I have: How has @mathemachristian@lemmy.blahaj.zone found the nazi-thread which matches the screenshot-thread that closely? Are the lock-icons in the screenshot prove that it’s a private thread which can’t be seen without being logged in? How realistic is the assumption one could edit the “thread-lines”, “show more comments” stuff, lock icons, etc. just with browser html-editing?

    I haven’t seen perfect prove that none of the db0-admins are nazis, but seing all the evidence it seems extremly unlikely.

    Sincerely, a feddit.org user who you would pobably call a “fucking zionist” and who is extremly annoyed about db0’s defederation and all the leftists infights in general. At the same time, truth must be found and shouldn’t be the victim of infights. After all we have much more consenus than division and we should unite in solidarity.
