In my experience, for lower division for every bachelor’s degree there was typically a science class requirement. Hell, I majored in business and I had to take Anthropology and Geology. Shit might have been different back when he went, I don’t know.

I had a rudimentary knowledge of avocado flowering from being bored during COVID and growing a few avocado trees and watching some YouTube videos.
