None of this is surprising, they know it’s coming and they’ve tried to put some measures in place to manage it. It will be frustrating when there are long queue times and errors causing us to queue again, but I feel they are taking reasonable measures rather than just hoping for the best.

Trying to get things lined up for the Dawntrail expansion for Final Fantasy XIV next week. When first announced I wasn’t very excited, but as it gets closer I’m looking forward to it more and more.

I like this change, shame it wasn’t in place when I was younger!

My concern with this is that for a lot of young people retail is their first job, and so I suspect retail is predominantly young workers. What kind of impact would this have on the economy? E.g. if Morrisons hires lots of younger people and they now need to increase all their pays, I’m guessing they’ll need to cut staff numbers or increase prices? Of course they are going to avoid cutting into their profits. Now times this by however many retailers there are. I can only guess there is the hope that people will buy more.

Something helpful someone said to me is that if someone says something like “I can’t do it”, simply say “yet” and it immediately changes their point of view.

I’ll be glad to see the backs of the Tories, but I don’t have high expectations for Labour. Every time the Tories fuck up Labour simply suggests “we wouldn’t do it that way.” Hindsight is a pretty powerful thing and I don’t know if they’ll be able to make the right decisions either.

Tories definitely shouldn’t win, but I don’t feel labour deserve to win. I feel like I’m voting for the lesser of 2 evils 😞

What annoys me is you still have to pay for audio books.

Huge Eurovision vibes from this, have watched it probably 15+ times since it came about.

I loved this film when I was younger. It was cheesy but the action was good and it had an awesome soundtrack.

After having used Boost for Reddit for so long I was happy to cough up a bit of money to get Boost for Lemmy to not have any ads. Jerboa was great for a free app, but for me the user experience felt free. I haven’t used it since BfL came out so not sure if it’s improved since then.

Completed this with friends twice on helldive, we rotated throwing down the gas cloud by the drill to kill the little ones, and used a spear/EATS and sentries. It’s definitely challenging.

I’ve tried two different types, one solid memory foam pillow, and my current one is one with foam cubes in it, it seems to be the closest solution, but just not quite right. I feel like Goldilocks.

I’ve been having a real nightmare in recent months with sleeping. I get ear pain if I use a pillow that is too firm, but if I don’t use a firm pillow a soft pillow sinks or bunches up over night and causes neck pain. I can’t use a firm pillow with a soft pillow on top otherwise it’s too high and leads of neck pain. If I sleep on my back I’ll snore.

I just don’t know what to do, I can’t find a suitable pillow.

This is definitely the kind of thing I’m looking for, such a shame it isn’t maintained.
