I would keep it only because it is such a pain to study for and take the test. If you can swing 125 every year plus CEs then it is not a heavy lift. These types of certs are good when job hunting for Gov and private business, it can not hurt having it to boost your CV.

Could this bill be the result of the recent court decision blocking gov work with social media companies?
I would not be surprised if the DEA was already working with tech companies and this bill is to get around the court and make the collaboration legal.
