Yeah, I was expecting it to be much worse to be honest. Obviously they should have said something right away and hopefully they’ve learned their lesson. Not sure I’d write them off for this one incident from 7-8 years ago but it’s probably still good to have that asterisks on their name.

It they’re not explaining why then they’ve likely fallen fowl off anti money laundering laws. Maybe they’ve had some transactions with sanctioned accounts?

They’re already getting accommodation and financial support. I’m not entirely sure what the point of this is, on the grand scheme of things I can’t imagine these costs making a big dent in the finances of the country, and we’d probably spend a good chunk of money administrating and trying to recover this money.

Maybe it’s more about trying to discourage asylum seekers from coming here in the first place, or filtering out those who are genuinely in need.

I feel you. Friday was brutal until a storm came at around 3pm, it was bliss after!

Week was fine though, went into the office on Thursday for a works social thing which was decent. Watched the F1 over the weekend, that’s pretty much all there is to report!

Most of these have been happening under previous governments ever since I can remember. They’re things I strongly appose but at the same time, they’re not “scandals” of the PM, they’re policies of the governments.

It was fine, uneventful really! Went out to the beach yesterday with the kids and had some food at the pub which was nice!

Never claimed he was perfect. You can find fault with literally every PM that has ever existed. But him and Major seemed to be relatively scandal free compared to many who have come before and after them.

Probably Gordon Brown or John Major.

Maybe I’ve not been playing close enough attention to politics, but I’m not entirely sure what he’s done so wrong to warrant this. He’s very middle of the road, hardly wowing everyone, but hardly very scandalous either (well, apart from appointing Mandelson I guess). Is this now just going to become the norm, changing PM’s every year?
