I’m aware of that, the point is that we might not continue to have that ability in the future should birth rates continue to fall.
And yes, greed is the main driver of human suffering today, and will likely be the same in the future.

Booster reuse vs ship reuse is a completely different beast. I am not sure it’s ever going to be viable to reuse the ship economically.
Wait, are you implying that this internet meme might not be realistic?
Surely they are playing with fire now, right? The French Revolution happened in part because the oligarchy became so brazen about things.
One of the perks of having so darn many cameras everywhere - we get to capture rarely recorded events like this regularly.

That’s literally the plot of Stardew Valley. Leaving the world of digital work in favor of something more tangible is a dream come true for many of us.
I’m shocked that the DoD doesn’t step in to slap down this kind of insecure shit. Leaking more personal details to more parties is a national security nightmare.
I mean, yeah. Potentially harmful but otherwise useless materials? I try to reduce those whatever possible.
Backup Chinese spyware since TikTok is going down.
I don’t want to be one of “those guys” but if we ever do progress AI to the point of AGI we will be able to take care of an aging population without infinite population growth.
(Whether or not the oligarchs who control that AGI will decide to help people instead of hoarding that power is a different problem.)
And it will never be illegal to do that because young people aren’t practically able to be politicians.
How is player count meaningless? Even for single player games, that’s the most important number to gauge the ongoing interest in a game. Every player contributes to the strength of the fandom.
I think it’s a good technique! Remember, very few people see you as closely as you see yourself. Most people will miss those little details and go for the vibe, which is what you’re tricking your brain into doing here.
Vickers denies murder and manslaughter, describing the incident as a tragic accident.
I mean, isn’t killing someone accidentally while doing dangerous things the very definition of manslaughter?
A lot of those are legitimately good points. I’d love to see more legally sound piracy in action.
Oof, the back of those cards is designed as a shooting target. So much for plausible deniability.
Probably technically falls under free speech regardless.
The only ethical illegal immigration is MY illegal immigration!
The characters were drawn in a more stylized way in order to add some levity to the punchline panels. You’ll find a similar technique in anime when the characters become chibi during comedic scenes. This emphasizes the idea that a scene shouldn’t be taken seriously.
The artist probably could’ve gone further with the stylization here to drive the point in harder. Right now it looks more “unfinished” than an obvious style change for comedic effect.
Ordinarily I hate it when archaeologists try to apply meaning to something they found, because they often state plausible theories as if they are facts.
This theory seems to be pretty sound though, looking at the evidence they’ve provided.
