Who here really has the time to stand, think and waste in the shower?

Me, my village gets its water from a spring in the mountains above that provides many times what we consume. Water is just a flatrate utility. The energy to heat it comes exclusively from photovoltaics and solar thermal panels between April and October. Standing under the hot shower is literally free for me in those months.

Rest of the year, eh, okay I either pay for electricity or stuff four more pieces of wood into the stove for half an hour worth of hot shower water, so, basically free as well.

Wenn du dir eh kein Haus leisten kannst, dann ist so bei 60k€ oder 70k€ brutto ein schönes Auto der größte Luxus den du dir im Leben leisten wirst.

Ohne Flachs - ich kuck mir gerade e-trons von 2020/21 an. Die hatten bis jetzt einfach mal 70% Wertverlust und das durchaus diesseits der 100000km. Der e-tron könnte endlich meinen letzten Verbrenner ersetzen den ich noch zum Anhänger ziehen habe. Hätte ich für 110k€ nie gekauft, für 30k€? Ja, schon, warum nicht.

Strom hab ich sowieso zu viel, ich verschenk den seit April dauernd für 7 cent die kWh. Laufleistung kriegt das Ding bei mir vielleicht 9000km im Jahr. Also, alles Gründe warum die keiner will sind mir egal.

Wir haben hier das zweite recht feuchte Jahr in Folge. Glück gehabt weil bei uns öfter mal Luft vom Atlantik ankommt, aufsteigt und abregnet. Die Fichten wachsen wieder, das Gras schießt, die Leute haben den Klimawandel komplett vergessen.

Es ist so, das Thema ist durch und wird über die Jahre verschwinden, weil jedem das Hemd näher ist als die Jacke. Wenn es wirtschaftlich eng wird, dann werden die Leute politisch Dinge bestellen wie “auf Klimaflüchtlinge an der EU-Grenze schießen”. Hauptsache nix ändern bevor es fast ans Verrecken geht, wie Junkies nur halt irgendwie in gesellschaftlich normalisiert.
