  • Mario acknowledges that gays aren’t token good people all with similar qualities, but complex humans with their backstories, their personalities, their drives and their motives. As the king of Koopa Kingdom, Bowser was indoctrinated into a radically homophobic brand of religion and is closeted, which leads him desperately to harass Peach to the point of kidnapping her despite her refusals, in order to satisfy his desire of “fitting in” with what Bowser considers is “morally right” and “pure”.

Mario sees his suffering and understands that the only way to put an end to his misery and to save Peach and the oppressed Koopas is to murder him once and for all, despite his moral objections to murder and to harm of queer people, but justifies it in the same way that the IRA justified the attempts on Thatcher despite her being a woman.

In his last moments alive, Bowser hears Mario crying and screaming in pain, saying a last goodbye to Bowser’s tragic life: “so long, gay Bowser”. Bowser comes to accept his true self in the last seconds of life and accepts death, finally aware of himself and all the damage he’s done. It’s too late for himself, and dies at peace, knowing that the world will be a better place after he’s gone.

It’s a deep and sad story

By 2035 Elon will be in jail.

Since the second half of the 2010s, he’s been promising investors that the “full self driving is next year”, and the technology just isn’t there, especially at consumer car prices.

Chinese electric cars are objectively better and cheaper than Tesla, and with Tesla relying on Chinese batteries and car parts, the impending economic war between the US and China will make it impossible for Tesla to manufacture and sell their cars at a competitive price point (if at all).

Tesla stock will sink, and then, investors will shift away the responsibility to the man that was demonstrably committing fraud by promising technology that didn’t exist. Elon won’t go to jail for being a sexual assaulter, or for destroying freedom of speech in his platform and pushing fascist talking points. He’ll go to jail for making rich people lose money.

  • Western economists when the USSR slows its growth from 1975 to 1985 due to a variety of reasons including hesitation to fire workers from outdated workplaces, increased difficulty in resource extraction due to prime deposits being exploited, leniency with a black market of stolen state property, lack of F&D in civilian sector of the economy due to resources being pulled by the military because of US pressure, and some inefficiencies in allocation of workers remaining from the Fel’dman model, all while still increasing real purchase power by 3.5% per year per capita in the same period: This is absolute and final proof that planned economies must never be tried again

Western economists when the EU can’t recover its 2008 level after 16 years of neoliberal austerity policy under capitalism, continuously eroding the welfare state, worker rights and the purchase power of citizens in those countries year after year: “This is by far the best system history has to offer”

  • For 3d printing for miniatures and such, you definitely want to get a resin 3D printer. FDM (filament deposition manufacture) just doesn’t have the level of detail and the lack of visible layers that you need for miniatures and such.

I’m pretty sure there must be really good stuff for $300 right now, I remember that some years ago people were amazed at the performance of the Elegoo Mars around that price point, one of the first truly affordable and good resin printers.

AFAIK, the resin is a hazard, but mostly to touch and ingestion, not to breathing, so if you use gloves, goggles, and don’t lick your gloves, I think you’re fine. Edit: ignore strikethrough and listen to the answer below by beloved comrade @JoeByeThen

Resin printers need the wash after the print to remove the leftover liquid resin, and possibly the extra UV cure. It does take up some extra space because you need the washing thing for the prints after they’re out of the printer, and possibly also a UV curing chamber, but it shouldn’t take more than half a normal desk altogether, definitely doable.

If you’re concerned about the quality of the finish of resin 3D prints, I’m sure you can find a local club or business which will gladly accept money in exchange for prints. I’d give it a try and get some finished prints before buying a printer!
