Summary of the article from the unions point of view:

• don’t apply tariffs
• lower margins
• invest in local production
• put in enough effort and enough resources into developing car industry [by who?]
• 70’000 jobs lost since 2012

For me it doesn’t add up.

Lets the hidden hand do its job. We have labor shortage (they say).
Is car industry somehow “prestige” nowadays?
