I hate to be the person, but how is this relevant to the 99.999% of people who don’t own or live in a Los Angeles apartment? I mean this is hyper-local US news, and I imagine there is a more diverse audience here than that.

      Counterpoint:

All posts should contain a source (url) that is as reliable and unbiased as possible and must only contain one link.

It is not breaking any rules.

It is news from a legitimate news site.

      It is not spam.

In five months you have created 3 threads and none in this community.

I imagine there is a more diverse audience here than that.

Then post the content you want to see.

Yeah, I figured something like this would be in WorldNews instead because it’s relevant only to people in a certain part of the world.

      Nonetheless, I found it interesting

Adding on to that, 6,000 ‘buildings’ in a city that holds almost 4 million people is practically nothing

LA is at least a city most people know of. If I started posting news about my city, people would be very confused. Honestly, it would actually me interesting to have a local news only community. Something that people everywhere post their local hubub.

You bring up a good point. I don’t see anything mentioned in the rules about what should or shouldn’t be posted on here other than news. That should probably be something that is addressed.

No. You are posting content interesting to you, that is relevant and not breaking any rules. While they are not and commenting about what they don’t want to see but not posting anything here themselves.
