I’m on a 7. Excited about the new midfield, but with Timber leaving I’m worried about the defense. It was a mess last season. And still very much of the opinion things can go terribly wrong again.

    I’m pretty optimistic, I’d say around a 7.5 .

I have a lot of faith (until possibly proven otherwise) in Mislintat. It at least feels like he knows what he’s doing and basically as long as that’s the case and Steijn proves himself able to make a team out of the Ajacieden then we should come out on top. We played absolutely horrible last year and still came in third. If there’s any sense of team spirit and confidence this year we should be alright in terms of Eredivisie. The transfers so far make sense to me, curious to see what’s coming as soon as he has more spending power after the sales are done.

Feyenoord doesn’t have a superior team, but had a superior coach last year (probably this year as well) but I wouldn’t be surprised if they see some form of regression. Last year had a lot of games that went just right for them in the last minutes.

PSV have to do some major investments, especially if Simons leaves who basically carried them to 2nd place last season, for Bosz’s more aggressive style to work. Surviving until the group stage of the CL and clearing that 40m is going to be essential. If they do that, maybe they are a contender.
