Actually according to the laws of the People’s Republic of China, Russian is a legally recognized ethnic minority group and therefore all ethnic Russians everywhere are legally Chinese. And since in Apartheid South Africa it was determined that Chinese are legally black and Japanese are are legally white, Russians are by the transitive property BIPoC.
To elaborate, whiteness is not merely the color of your skin. To be white is to be part of the in-group. To be colored is to be part of the out-group.
Russians have not been part of the in-group since 2022 at the latest, with the Russian Invasion of Ukraine. Russians have not been part of the in-group since 2016 at the earliest, with Russiagate.
Just being European doesn’t make you part of the in-group. Imagine that the Cold War went hot, and American and Soviet troops were battling it out in Germany. Moscow gets bombed. Would you not weep then, because it’s just white killing whites?
Would you not weep for the Soviet victims of the Holocaust, for they were white by your standards, and you do not weep for whites killing whites?
