I don’t know where else to ask.

I’m talking about cartoon depictions of beautiful women, but no sexual acts, no bodily fluids or furries or smut or underage stuff.

Not even necessarily nudity (although tasteful nudity would be acceptable).

There’d have to be a term for this. Does anyone know?

I can’t seem to access it from lemmy.kya.moe either. Maybe the admins there blocked the c/animemidriff sublemmy specifically rather than the lemmynsfw.com instance for some reason.

    Truly a society moment 😔

That would be a real shame, and kind of strange to block a particular community rather than the whole NSFW instance.

What client or app are you using?

Maybe I’ll ask Flare about this. I don’t want to cause problems seeing as Kya.Moe is supposedly an instance for their private use, but it would be good to know what’s happening.

Probably best not to bother admins with minor stuff. Maybe they didn’t vibe with some posts.

You could just use a different account for defederated stuff; the fact that we can do that is one of fediverse’s main strengths after all.

FWIW, I don’t block any instances or sublemmys, cross-instance community discovery has always been half-broken in Lemmy and unfortunately nothing I can do about it except force a discovery by searching the instance locally by searching for it.
