The current Thai owners of Red Bull want to use the whole Horner thing to restructure the team and get rid of all of the old Red Bull people. This is pushed by Wolff because they want Verstappen to replace Hamilton.
Ford doesn’t want anything to do with the whole Horner thing because of appearance. Newey has said he doesn’t want any drama in the team and said he will leave unless they fix their shit.
