We don’t elect a Prime Minister in Britain and the present one wasn’t even elected by his own party. I’m at the head of a host of Workers Party candidates so...
Unfortunately in this country, we don’t elect the Prime Minister directly. If we did, we might be better off.
So a president?
Our Prime Minister is appointed by the King, if he’s still there
But AFAIK George Galloway has some problems, mainly around social issues. There are rumors of Corbyn launching a new party, right? He would be much better.
george galloway is ngl pretty gross and said some shit about consent over the assange allegations but imo, he’s worth supporting because where he’s bad (on trans stuff) he’s bad in the exact same way as like 90% of parliament is, but where he’s good (palestine and being a socialist) he’s far and away better than anyone else in the house at all
like when this is the state of british politics currently i dont think its going to make much of a difference that one single transphobe in the labour party got replaced by a different transphobe in addition to the the hundreds of others in parliament
