More efficient manufacturing, falling battery costs and intense competition are lowering sticker prices for battery-powered models to within striking distance of gasoline cars.

paying 2x as much for an older tesla that still has these problem feels like a bad idea; but i know plenty of people who are tesla fan boys who wouldn’t be able to afford a tesla otherwise.
