And then there’s the cracked sync client that just works… https://github.com/Liz-chan/sink-for-everyone/releases/ Apparently it’s using the API key of some official function (or even app?) and spoofs the corresponding user agent, so it can’t be easily detected. Sync won’t be updated any longer, so once reddit messes with the API again, functions will break eventually. But for now it works.
