You mean yet another Republican plan turned out to simply be a grift to remove tax payer funds and insert them directly into rich friends and political donor pockets? It’s absurd that people keep listening to Republicans do the same thing and then act shocked when they get the same results

Oh shit I just read the article… Let me point out the part they’re not saying, Republicans are lying to get rich while destroying the education system once there is a huge budget deficit, the Republicans will say need to get tough on Democrats spending money (despite the deficit coming directly due to Republican legislation) to do that we need to make cuts in (all programs that benefit the middle to low class) safety net programs.

Just to help it go down smoother the Republicans will also add a line item which gives more tax cuts to the rich and most likely the same folks pocketing the 1.4 billion in voucher funds.

It’s a goddamn scam to deprive/erode all but the richest Americans of quality of life.

I’m so sick of paying attention to politics…

      It’s all I’ve seen for decades now…

Democrats suggest making people’s lives better and Republicans freak the fuck out about that being communism and then shovel public money at private ultra wealthy individuals… Propagandists sing songs of communism killing everyone and we move rightward again… Over and over and over and over and over.

The “greatest” fucking goddamn achievement we have over the last 30 fucking years IS A REPUBLICAN MARKETS BASED HEALTHCARE PLAN. Even our goddamn so called achievements are fucking compromises for Republicans that they freak out about anyway because power > everything else to them…

I’m so tired of this fucking story.

Democratic citizens need to vote. They typically only get ~50% attendance in midterm elections, ~65% when correlating with presidential elections. Unlike presidential elections, you directly elect your representatives and senators.

Sizable and prolonged congressional majority would help things immensely.
