17 yo trans girl severely injured in attempted transfemicide at Miami International Airport
So glad we have the TSA to stop things like this from happening!
The girl was attacked eighteen times with a knife and is now recovering at the hospital.
This latest hate crime follows other similar incidents this past month in the US and UK. On July 3rd, three boys stabbed a transgender woman in the UK. On July 6th, a man was arrested for killing and dismembering a 14 yo trans girl in Pennsylvania.
I don’t think any of these stories have been getting much coverage.

the Cleveland incident is in Stockton-on-Tees, UK so that would explain the lack of USian coverage
I almost wrote US and UK cause it was BBC but then I saw Cleveland and scrapped that. Oops!
