Those two groups are at odds. You can’t represent all lives matter and then thin blue line as one is actively trying to incarcerate/murder all lives… Well at least the ones that can’t afford campaign contributions.
Like, not directly, there’s just a bit of acceptance of systemic racism. Afaik, nobody in the band has ever said or done anything racist.
They just get all edge-lordy with their lyrics, and like to try and be shocking overall. It’s bro-metal, and that has a certain appeal to the kind of dickheads that are racist. But it’s hard to tell how much is even the real beliefs, and how much is just wanting to look edgy.
Mostly, it’s the lead singer that draws in the assholes since he’s prime edgelord.
And, fwiw, I kinda like the band’s sound overall, but their lyrics can be eye roll worthy. Kinda like Texas Hippie Coalition in that regard. If you could mute the lyrics, both bands would be a lot better lol
