Oh yea, I did watch a couple seasons and was surprised by how decent it was. Still has a few MacFarlane-isms but it’s got the spirit. The Moclan child arc was actually really impressive aside from a couple lib bits.
That actor was amazing, including in his human-imitation moments and his painfully brief emotional experience. The “make Claire break up with him” slob attempt was one of the funniest moments of the show.
The Orville. It’s a good and legitimately Star Trek show.
Once The Orville shed “Family Guy in space” gimmicks a few episodes in, it got good enough to be considered Trek.
