Learning how to self host their podcast on their own domain will be a pain in the ass, cost money and take enough time that we’ll probably have a couple fewer episodes as a result. Getting listeners to subscribe to the new feed will be a slow and annoying transition However the sooner this is done the less damage will be done when the inevitable occurs. Doing anything less is begging to be destroyed.
Eventually libsyn will do the same and the podcast will be dead entirely.
