The unreleased Mediatek chipset scores 134 fps in GFX Aztec 1440P off-screen Vulkan. Mediatek is expected to release the Dimensity 9400 chipset next month....

Who cares? How about efficiency. Work done per watt?

We don’t need a mobile phone as powerful as a laptop. We need a phone that lasts for longer with normal tasks.
