A screenshot of those apps

The first one doesn’t have a name.
Searching for the second one, TPMS, gave me results on Tyre Pressure Monitoring System. Didn’t see any articles on android about it(Might be that I didn’t search well enough too).

Is anyone familiar with these apps? What are they for?
Saw these apps on a Tecno Spark 8C, running Android 11.

Thanks in advance.

You could try using something like https://github.com/apk-editor/APK-Explorer-Editor to see what info you can find out about these apps.

TPMS seems to be for tyre pressure, your phone could have the same system apps as android devices with Android Automotive OS. But I don’t like that it has accessed the internet and sent/received data. I would suggest disabling internet access for it or at least disable background data usage for it

      Thank you.
I was thinking the same about the background data. Wanted to ask and ensure that it’s not some important app.

Just disable them and see what breaks.

If everything seems fine keep it that way. Phones are filled with so much bloat and data gathering its a nightmare

I would be careful disabling apps your not sure about what they’re doing. Disabling certain apps can cause bootloops.

I think they were talking about diabling the background data, which is what I normally do.

I think my old phone had TPMS on it, IIRC it was some system app related to the chipset, maybe GPS-A or something like that.
