The chip has a warning label that it’s not intended for children, pregnant people, people with underlying health conditions. Really kind of hard to blame the company here unless they were pushing the challenge or marketing to kids

Still seems kind of thin to me, especially considering teens’ proclivities to test boundaries and try to emulate adults. I hope you’re not saying this is the kid’s fault.

Yeah, it actually did help the world and the people a lot during the Prohibition period. Alcohol related health issues went significantly down and so did hospital visits for liver related issues. The problem was that enforcement wasn’t tough enough so that people still got away with it

Organized crime took over all major cities, the government started poisoning alcohol and people were drinking unregulated bathtub booze and ethanol and becoming blind at extreme rates. Completely off. The enforcement was so tough they were mass poisoning thousands of speakeasy goers.

There’s a reason no AES nation has banned alcohol but the fascist settler states all had a go

The issue was i’ll running of prohibition. Had better steps taken to ensure alcohol was removed (like slowly limiting it over time) then those issues may not have been as prevalent. The issue with organized crime may also have had to do with certain economic woes at the time

this time we’ll be good and only poison hundreds of people instead of thousands! please pay no attention to the alcohol cartels seizing total power, surely has nothing to do with giving them 100% of the market and artificially suppressing supply to ensure their superprofits

unless they were pushing the challenge or marketing to kids

The “challenge” part of it is clearly marketed at kids (it’s not exclusively kids who do viral challenges like this, but it’s predominantly kids).
