Normally this type of joke lands well with me, but that’s my least favorite euphemism for gay sex, as a gay man. Just gross. :/

Oof, didn’t catch that. I totally thought dad was a closet. Shame on me.

Am I misunderstanding the joke? I assumed the face value of it was that parents who find out their kids are gay get kicked out, but the father is just kicking him out bcz he’s technically an adult.

Getting your shit packed is a euphemism for gay sex.

I mean you’re not wrong, but it’s both. It’s a play on expectations and the euphemism. C&H have been doing it for over a decade, it’s kind of a big part of their shtick and one of the few jokes they have.

So edgy, so offensive! Just the type of thing their target audience of 14 year old kids like.

I really just thought this was supposed to be an ironic “parents throw out gay children” joke when they just want to get rid of him. Which is grim, but still not as grim as the rest of these comments that depend on a double entendre that could’ve been accidental.

No one makes that “joke” (it’s more of a reference or even just a phrase) accidentally, especially if it’s your job to make jokes.
