I have seen great memes and posts about the fact that Lemmy doesn’t have any Karma to pursue. But surely it keeps track of points? At least in Connect I can see mine and those of others?

It may already count internally, but it’s not something I’ll ever miss and I think it’s good Lemmy doesn’t have it, keep people from farming it.
Lemmy doesn’t fuzz the score counter like some other sites, so you could easily calculate this yourself using the API. I think that the API makes upvote and downvote counts available, but the official lemmy UIs don’t display it, intentionally. Third-party apps, or browser extensions, can make it available.
