This is a question that was recently answered on the other non-federated thing in admincraft, but it’s inaccesible now :-)

So what’s your favorite way to deal with managing your minecraft server?

I have a very basic paper server with floodgate/geyser, I’m updating everything by hand now, but it would be so nice to have a GUI :-)

Personally, I’d recommend either Pterodactyl or Pufferpanel, both support more than just Minecraft and they have a lot of GUI options, plus they’re pretty good if you want to go down the modded route

I don’t know anything that runs on base windows itself afaik, however both Pterodactyl and Pufferpanel run on docker which you can setup on windows, I only run Linux containers so idk how that would go but it would be worth a shot!

Hm, it looks like pufferpanel/pterodactyl are both generic game hosting services; my biggest annoyance is keeping the plugins up-to-date. And they are not made for that?

I found Fork, which is promising a minecraft-only application that will also do plugin management, but it’s windows only (and I am using linux)

      Hmm, the search continues.

Oh, yeah, MineOS seems dead :-) :-/

I tried out both and in the end, I prefer editing the files manually. UI panels like that take up system resources I’d prefer to go to something else.
