I’ve heard it explained that “hey” used to be more of an urgent way to get someone’s attention, rather than a casual “hello” like it is now, so it sounded rude to some older folks.

There’s everything wrong with being entitled lmfao.

So why is it acceptable for them to be upset, but it’s not acceptable for them to say no problem? That’s not how life works.

Pandering is only part of the job because people were incorrectly taught that. Pandering also comes in many forms. Why do you think the Karen cafe does so well?

Eventually they will learn they have to accept society won’t pander specially to them, the rest of the population our numbers them and eventually hospitablility will switch to the more profitable market. Which will be pissing boomers off even more.

If a server says no problem and someone takes offense, they complain to management, unless management has their back they will be reprimanded since “the customer is always right” which is another fallacy…

Maybe they are sick of being tolerant and having none of it reciprocated. What tradition are yo talking about? Entitlement?

That’s a little far, but at some point they need to realize people aren’t going to pander to them forever. And again, maybe they are sick of being tolerant and following traditions for no other reason than amusing elders. Two way street.

They are tolerant, they aren’t punching your face for demanding they pander to you. Customer… no, but as a generation as a whole, yeah you’re reaping what you’ve sowed. They’ve never shown an ounce of appreciation for being tolerated, in fact they condemn a large portion of people for being different as well.

No, entitlement and narcism are the word to describe your generation.
