Does anyone else remember Epic Theatre? It was Sword and Sandals movies played every Saturday afternoon after the wrestling.
I ask because I finished watching The Story Of Ruth (1960) today and am thinking I’ve probably seen it before , just can’t specifically remember. A lovely movie, the sets and the costumes are good and it’s a good story too. I like how she follows her principles and weighs beliefs against basic humanistic ideals ( they wouldn’t have thought about it like that at the time ). It’s also a love story. And it’s filmed in the hills of California, like so many movies at the time.
