They are brainwashed. I got a cold for the 2nd time this season. My dad: well you shouldn’t have gotten the flu shot. My response in front of the whole family: I thought you didn’t go to college let alone medical school. How did you have the time with all the television you watch?
Indeed. I’ve been trying to push them away from watching so much Fox News and actually picking up a book on these topics. I’ve seen the stuff they watch, and it’s all garbage. Of course they are going to think crazy things if everything they are consuming is crazy.
It’s a real shame. I can’t completely separate from these people, but I’ve lost friends over such ridiculous claims. It’s a shame.

At the end of the day they are lazy and don’t care to actually use their brains. This a huge problem with older Americans.
