@Frisk @DavidGarcia @MinecraftWikiEN Well, to be fair, Mojang accounts were laughably insecure and it did make sense to migrate away from them.
Though they could’ve chosen to not use Microsoft accounts, and developed a new separate system instead.
The migration itself ended up being completely borked and rushed, but it was indeed necessary for security, that wasn’t just an ostensible reason.
