Milland won an Oscar for Lost Weekend (great movie!) and as late as 1970 he was a supporting character in Love Story.

Do what you can with what you’ve got. I know actors from my generation who sit at home and cry, ‘Why don’t they send me any scripts?’ I tell them, ‘Because you still think of yourself as a leading man. You’re 68, not 28. Face it.’

      -Milland.

Oh, it’s really quite fantastic! Being bad shouldn’t be a qualifier for a B movie, however. In the broadest sense, it’s any movie that is made quick and cheap that has a sensational bend to it (often sex or violence, preferably both). These movies are often designed to draw in a teenage audience who have a disposable income. Sure, a lot of them are bad (in the traditional sense), but quite a few are pretty great! ;)

yeah I guess I did not realize how cheap it may have been but watching it that would make sense. Not many locations and only a few actual actors or even background.
