    Also… this wouldn’t be a Lucio Fulci movie without an eye impalement scene.

    this contains two classic moments for me:

    • a woman wanders into a abandoned building and instead of shouting “Hello? Anybody?” for some unknown reason shouts “Hello? Nobody?”

    • “I’m feeling better now. But I am a little thirsty… for your BLOOD!”

    Did this have a breastfeeding scene with a mother and … zombie? Child?

    Saw it late night on 35-mm years ago. Great movie.

        Well, that’s 100 % the movie I thought Zombi 2 was since I watched burial ground. Both Italian directors I guess is what did it? Similar (not really) covers?

        Today is the day I realize that I don’t think I’ve seen Zombi 2. My life feels like a lie /s.

        I know what I’m watching this weekend. Thanks for the great detective work.

          Haha! Well it didn’t require much detective work: the breastfeeding scene in Burial Ground is pretty well known among Italian genre fans. I actually have the “kid” as a fridge magnet: 😝

          Btw. if you enjoyed Burial Ground then you will really dig Zombi 2!
