    Re: Copyright Infringement

    Dear @Otter@lemmy.ca,

It has been established that you have been using Super Smash Bros., Mario Kart, and Kirby (the “Work”) without our permission, which is a copyrighted work under law.

We discovered unlawful usage of our work at https://sh.itjust.works/post/26398556 .

As a result, we demand that you immediately remove the content and halt any additional infringements of our Work, including any other infringements, or you may face legal action and consequent statutory damages.

A lawsuit will be filed against you if you do not stop using the aforementioned copyrighted content.

Furthermore, we demand that you immediately stop using and distributing all infringing works derived from the Work, as well as all copies, including electronic copies, of same, that you deliver to us, if applicable, all unused, undistributed copies of same, or destroy or delete such copies immediately, and that you refrain from future infringements of our rights.

If we do not get an affirmative answer from you by November 9, 2024 confirming that you have completely complied with these requirements, we shall initiate legal action against you to address the matter.

    Sincerely,

    Nintendo of America, Inc.

P.S. - Make sure to stay updated on all the latest games for the Nintendo Switch™ family of game systems, such as Super Mario Party™ Jamboree, arriving October 17 at just $59.99!

Re: Response to Doubts About Copyright Infringement Notice

        Dear @ArchAengelus@lemmy.dbzer0.com,

It has come to our attention that you have publicly questioned the legitimacy of our copyright infringement notice by stating “This is just an impressive troll, right?” We want to inform you that such statements can be considered harmful to our company’s reputation and may interfere with our legal proceedings.

While you are not the subject of the original copyright infringement claim, we must emphasize that our notices are legitimate legal communications. Encouraging others to disregard or dismiss these notices could potentially be seen as interfering with legal processes.

We kindly request that you refrain from making such statements in the future. Continued actions that cast doubt on the validity of our legal notices may result in separate legal consequences.

We hope this clarifies the seriousness of the situation. If you have any questions or concerns, please consult with a legal professional.

        Sincerely,

        Nintendo of America, Inc.

P.S. - Don’t forget that Super Mario Party™ Jamboree is arriving October 17 for less than $60!
