Federal emergency response personnel on Saturday had employees operating in hard-hit Rutherford County, N.C., stop working and move to a different area because of concerns over “armed militia” threatening government workers in the region

Does anyone else notice that these domestic terrorists always seem to target their own neighbors?

Wall Street bankers are safe from their rage, but people who rely on the local power grid are their sworn enemies.

If nothing else, it’s a crappy military strategy.

If there’s a new Civil War the NC National Guard is going to get called out.

They are going to remember the people who made them do extra work after a disaster, and also remember that the Federal government actually showed up to help.

It’s because it takes money and organization and those are had to get on the down-low.

I always like to point out that back in the day, Lincoln offered Robert E Lee command of the Army of the Potomac. Today’s secessionists couldn’t get a job at the Apple Store.

Why don’t they just go in and gun them down where they stand? Oh… they’re white, and armed whites terrorizing the community have more rights than black folks sleeping in their homes.

I saw reports of this yesterday morning. Absolutely insane. The GOP terrorist cells’ disinformation campaign against FEMA needs to be treated for what it is by the major new outlets: Terrorism. These people are completely unhinged, and it’s not only impacting FEMA officials and other volunteers, it’s hindering the storm victims’ ability to recover. The population at large needs to turn on these traitors.

The heightening tension has resulted in residents harassing federal employees, said Riva Duncan, a former Forest Service official who lives in Asheville.

Duncan, who is also a representative with the Grassroots Wildland Firefighters, said people have been yelling at federal employees delivering aid or showing up to do repairs, saying, “We don’t want your help here.”

One Forest Service employee, she said, was pulling into a gas station when someone yelled at him to leave, saying “We don’t want the government here.”

“It’s terrible because a lot of these folks who need assistance are refusing it because they believe the stuff people are saying about FEMA and the government,” Duncan said. “And it’s sad because they are probably the ones who need the help the most.”

In extremely poor and hostile areas of a city, they refuse to provide services like Ambulances. Someone hurt? Drive them to a safe zone and then they’ll get help.

    Should do the same here.
