People are dying mysterious and gruesome deaths, and nobody has a clue what the cause is. Only health worker Mike Brady has a possible answer, but his theory about killer slugs is laughed at by the authorities. Only when the body count starts to rise, and a slug expert from England begins snooping around, does it begin to look like Mike had the right idea all along.

From Juan Piquer Simón, the director of the immortal Pieces (1982), comes this highly entertaining creature feature about killer gastropods. 🐌

I watched this movie as a kid (about 10; yeah I know) with my mom and aunt while having breakfast.

Then, a fire started in our flat in another room. We paused the movie, extinguished the flames, opened the windows for fresh air and checked the situation.

Afterwards we continued watching the movie…

I’ve had this movie sitting on my disk for years, maybe I’ll finally give it a watch tonight.
