What else is new? That “country” was created on the genocide of native Americans. Of course they’ll support another genocide.

Wasn’t there a poll posted on here the other day that a majority of democrats and independents support aid for Gaza while 40% of GOP do?

I will say, this poll is sourced from YouGov, and I used to be a very active poll participant on YouGov for a whole 2 years, and participants definitely had a slightly disproportionate amount of conservative old people. Shit is Facebook politics demographically.

I know it’s not good to generalise, but at this point I can’t help but see burgerlanders as fundamentally evil.

I actually feel more neutral about polls like these where Americans are asked their opinions about other places. Americans are so unaware of foreign countries that I doubt most of the responders could find Israel on a map, or that they know anything about it beyond they’ve heard it’s a place in the middle east somewhere and it’s America’s only ally in the region.

Also I remember American attitudes during the Iraq War and I’m shocked sympathy for Palestine is so high. Back in like 2003 the two standard opinions on how to deal with Muslim Arab people was either kill them all or kill them all but quicker. Outright hostility every single day with genocidal racism the baseline attitude. This same poll back then wouldn’t crack above 2% on the Palestinian side. Seeing 28% sympathize “a lot” with Palestine is wild to me.

Also don’t get me wrong, America is evil and must be destroyed, I’m just surprised how nuanced the public seems to be especially remembering how everyone talked post 9/11

I’m not sure that your conclusion is justified based on that data. This is precisely an issue where misinformation has been a problem for decades, and it’s safe to assume that the average random person is highly uninformed.

Not only that, but what even is the method of polling here?

      How CBS conducts news polls

Come to your own conclusions, but often these news polls are only reflective of the opinions of older people who are the ones likely to even answer calls from unknown numbers in the first place. That’s why these pollers “weight” the polls after the fact.

All of the other zionist propaganda has been based in lies or bad faith. We have no reason to suspect any differently with this.

I will say that YouGov is extremely limited. Idk how much I trust this as a sampler for the whole country, younger people I talk to are generally (not explicitly) sorta pro-Palestine, but that’s probably biased because of the area I live in, still the boomers here are garbage
